We are always looking for talented people to help us build our unique treehouse visions. Artisan has the following current needs:
- Do-er
- A do-er is someone who does whatever it is that needs to be done to advance our projects. This could be anything from digging holes to splicing rope to making windows to climbing trees. Being a do-er is a bit like being a laborer but not as physically demanding. A do-er must be adaptable. A do-er must be pleasant. A do-er need not be of any particular gender, race, creed, or what-have-you.
- Carpenter
- Our carpenters are never just carpenters. In addition to making magic with dead tree cells, our carpenters are called on to work safely at heights, be conscious of their surroundings, and be considerate of their environment. Our carpenters must put quality ahead of quantity, and safety above speed. Our carpenters need not possess their own tools, but do need to possess transportation and a valid license to use said transport.
- Intern
- If you want to spend a summer learning about trees, carpentry, rigging, CAD, quantum mechanics, and other subjects germane to treehouse building, do not hesitate to contact us.
- Apprentice
- If you want to learn how to be an efficient and effective carpenter, or learn how to climb trees, or learn how to design treehouses, you can become a paid Artisan apprentice
- Artists/Designers
- If you are a practically minded artist who wants to turn your skills towards the magical world of treehouse designing, give us a call.
