The lower flight's treads are on and the temporary rope railing is in place. The proportions of this staircase, while not typical, seem ideal for the application. Tread depth was 10.5 inches, riser height was 10", and the nose (overlap) was 3.5". Treads are 24" wide and the stringers angle up at 55 degrees from the horizontal.
