We offer many unique ways to exhaust an active child

Rock Climbing Wall
Not just the now ubiquitous low angle walk-up attached to every playset. We have retrofitted entire garages and attics as home climbing gyms and will be happy to include some incarnation of climbing wall into your treehouse. They work best as an alternative access to a treehouse but can be incorporated into the treehouse's innards. We can construct a rock wall of any size and any difficulty. It's a great way to build strength (for young and old alike) without feeling like you are mindlessly lifting weights.
Zip Line
For pure fun, nothing beats a zip line. A zip line is a high tensile steel wire or a high strength synthetic rope stretched tightly between two points. At one end is the takeoff - this is most often the treehouse platform. At the other is a landing - most often the ground. A trolley (two pulleys welded together with handles below and often a large ball to sit on) is placed on the line and stationed at the takeoff point. You grasp the trolley, and away you go, hurtling towards the ground. Once past the lowest point in the zip line, gravity then serves to slow you, until you can safely dismount at the landing point. Kids (and adults) love these things.
Climbing Net
Often called cargo nets, a climbing net is a safe and fun way to gain height. The concept is simple - a criss-crossing mesh of rope, knotted together at their intersections. However, the type of rope used and the knots used to form the net are an important design element. All climbing nets are custom fabricated to suit their specific installation.
Rope Bridges
Not really an "accessory" as rope bridges are often designed into a treehouse from the start. We build our rope bridges using extra-high-strength (EHS) steel cable but hide the cold steel in attractive natural ropes. Our bridges are sturdy, yet sway enough to remind you of where you are. Rope bridges most often connect a platform or deck in a separate tree with the main treehouse structure. Anyone for an Ewok village in their backyard?
Slides, Swings, and Special Things
The above is just a sampling. If you can dream it, we can build it. Of course we can install any and all manner of slides and swings of any shape and size. But how about a firepole? Or a luge? Or a giant rope swing into a lake? And remember, this isn't just for kids. The smiles on our craftsman's faces won't be concealed as they test out your new toys - over and over...
Hammocks
De rigueur for relaxing, a hammock is an essential addition to any adult aerie. We generally use Hatteras Hammocks as they are tops in quality and comfort. Sometimes a unique treehouse requires a unique hammock and we will custom make one to fit. Check out this one made by the guys at La Cabane Perchee.
