We often have children contribute ideas for the design of their treehouse and can even give them a hand in building it. Electronic games are no match for a game of "pirates" in a treehouse the children helped build.
A child's treehouse often benefits from including a theme in the design, whether a medieval castle, pirate ship on the high seas, or rocket to the moon. For active play we include ladders, cargo nets, slides, swings, fireman's poles, and even zip lines.
